For coffee lovers, the day at the Schlossmühle starts with aromatic coffee from the Chemex carafe - roasted in Freiburg and freshly brewed for you at your table by our team. Juices made from regional fruit and vegetables as well as fine teas complete the range of drinks on offer at breakfast. If you like, you can have a glass of Glottertäler sparkling wine in the morning.
Fresh farmhouse bread and spreads can be found at our small buffet. Daily changing breakfast dishes and individual egg specialties can be ordered à la carte. In our open breakfast kitchen, you can watch your sustainable and healthy breakfast being freshly prepared from regional products - including vegetarian and vegan options, of course.
So that you can start your day in the Black Forest well-rested, we serve our breakfast daily until 11 am. For early risers, a small breakfast is available at the buffet from 7 a.m., and from 8 a.m. there is the big selection.
You can enjoy your breakfast where you like it best: in the esszimmer, in the stube or in the wohnzimmer. And in summer? You'll find the best spots in our garden, of course.

For pour-over lovers, we brew the best Freiburg-roasted coffee directly at the table in a Chemex carafe. You prefer an espresso or cappuccino? Our coffee machine at the buffet fulfills all your wishes - of course, the beans here also come from sustainable cultivation and have been processed regionally.

You will look in vain for orange juice on our buffet - fortunately, the climate in the southern Black Forest is still completely unsuitable for its cultivation. To keep it that way, we rely on short delivery routes and regional products: Let yourself be inspired by juices made from apples, pears, currants and much more - harvested and pressed in the Glottertal valley.

There is no closing time at the Schlossmühle. Whenever you're thirsty, our honesty bar is open to you. The honesty bar is more than just a self-service bar - it is a carefully curated selection of drinks for every time of day. Whether it's coffee or tea in the afternoon, an aperitif before heading to the restaurant, a digestif at bedtime or drinks "all night long": here you will find a individually presented selection of special drinks from local producers that changes throughout the day.

A well-tempered selection of red and white wines from winegrowers' collectives and wineries from the South Baden region awaits you on our wine shelves. Of course you will also find the wines from the Glottertäler winegrowers "Roter Bur".
