The wohnzimmer offers you space to retreat. Here you can take a seat on comfortable armchairs and sofas from freistil and Rolf Benz from the Black Forest. 900 years ago, the millstones of the grain mill turned here, later this room was a cooperage where barrels were built for the Glottertäler wine. Isn't it fitting that, according to designer This Weber, the idea for the armchairs came from the basic circular shape of a wine barrel? The wohnzimmer is particularly cozy in the late evening. Our traditional Black Forest salon is now covered by a work of textile art whose horizontal lines trace the course of the vineyards opposite. The colors originate from the artistic glass painting of the Glottertäler landscape. Take a seat at one of the cozy tables under this baldachin. Every 15 minutes, the bird of the authentic Black Forest cuckoo clock sings for you.
